We were all thrilled to watch the International Space Station orbiting the earth and doing so directly over the Batt School playground! Robin had us spelled bound as he explained that the object we were watching was travelling at 5 miles a second! Later Robin talked about the astronomy behind the Christmas star story.
Many thanks on behalf of the Club for a most entertaining and informative presentation which we all found most fascinating.
Thank you so much for coming to Shipston (Primary school) for a fun filled night of stargazing
Robin entertained a packed hall with a fascinating talk about our galaxy, galaxies beyond, the solar system and the possibility that there may have been life of Mars.
I had a fantastic time on Wednesday and a great big thank you for coming to our school. We were all so amazed to see the space station and look through your telescopes
